The purpose of this class is to endow managers with the hidden knowledge necessary for initiation into a super-secret society of plat map readers.  Alternatively, the course will debunk the myth that hidden knowledge is required to read a plat map or that the words on them are nothing but gibberish.  Starting with a more light-hearted discussion of mapping the globe and medieval deeds, the course morphs into a practical guide to reading plats maps while nevertheless offering tantalizing insights that will surely have you admitting the class was much better than you ever thought it would be.
